Graduated from Istanbul Lisesi (High School) in 1989 and Istanbul University, Faculty of Business Administration in 1993, Erenus attended Faculty of Business Administration at METU - Middle Eastern Technical University as special student in 1994. She took her MA degree on “Art Theory and Criticism” at Istanbul Işık University, Department of Art Science in 2012 with her dissertation on the corpus of Marcel Duchamp’s works.
 
Between 1994 – 2002 she attended the studio of Gülseren Kayalı for “Basic Formation of Fine Arts”. From 1997 to 2000, she attended the studio sessions of Bubi, at the Association of Painting and Sculpture Museums. In 2003 and 2004 she participated in "Comparative Art History Studies" with Priv.-Doz.Dr. Özkan Eroğlu. In 2004, she attended "Painting and Experimental Art Workshop" of Prof. Dr. Balkan Naci İslimyeli, at İstanbul Bilgi University. In the scope of her MA studies within 2009 and 2010 she attended painting studio of Prof. Dr. Halil Akdeniz and sculpture studio of Associate Prof. Bülent Çınar. In 2010 and 2011, with the “Group of Art Philosophy” which was gathered with MA Students from FMV Isik University’s, Art Theory and Criticism Program, she participated "Philosophy of Art", "Classicism" and "Romanticism" workshops, leaded by Priv.-Doz.Dr. Özkan Eroğlu.
 
Starting in 1999, she opened 17 personal exhibitions, participated in over 150 group shows, in several workshops and art symposia, in Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Austria, Hungary, Germany, UK, Italy, USA, India, China, Iran, Vietnam, Morocco, Finland, Poland, Canada and Belgium, won prizes and her works were included in numerous public and private collections.
 
In 2005 her works were represented at the “3rd International Biennial of Tehran” and at the “International Biennial of Arad”.
 
Among her numerous participations in international art projects;
“Tile Project” (in 20 different countries, 2004-2006), “Convergence” (Vietnam, 2005), “Stand My Ground, Stand Your Ground” (Northern Ireland, 2008), “Here, There and Everywhere” (Boston-USA, 2009) and “Art-Salat” (Finland, 2009) can be mentioned.
 
Since 2003, Erenus is a member of the board “Turkish Union of Fine Arts”. She is organizing international art symposia and exhibitions in several towns of Turkey.
 
Erenus is currently working in her private studio in Ataköy, Istanbul. Beside her artistic creation she is writing freelance in art field and her articles, interviews and translations are being published in several art magazines, along with peer-reviewed publications. Her first book "Marcel Duchamp – His Art and Philosophy" is published in April 2014 by Tekhne Publications.
